A Beautiful Diversion…

So my large painting “A Soft Place to Land” is giving me fits.  Lets face it, some paintings fall off the brush, while others need to be wrestled to the ground.  So as a diversion, while I work out some issues, here is a painting I did a few years back.  One of my rare floral pieces.

I like this! I’m going to put it in my artists’ quotes!

“Lets face it, some paintings fall off the brush, while others need to be wrestled to the ground.”

As quotes go I guess I should be careful in saying its mine. I’ve heard many artists use the phase “this painting fell off the brush” and my artist friend Phil Korell often jokes with me about how I like to take a subject and “wrestle it to the ground.”
So by combining the two, can I own it?

One of my favorite artists quotes by Ron Ukrainetz…”Dead art sells and I’m not feeling well!”

    Okay, now thats funny!
